Batum

Located in modern day Georgia and now known as Batumi,  this small but interesting colony is a challenge for philatelists, especially used.   Some of the provisional overprints are significantly under-catalogued given that they have relatively tiny printing figures.  Due to the phenomenal amounts of forgeries in existence, we strongly recommend expertization of the better class stamps.
