A massive challenge, but in our option, Uganda is one of the most interesting former British protectorates in the Empire. These primitive stamps were produced on a typewriter in the late 19th century by a missionary at the request of the governor of the colony as they did not have their own postage stamps. Much easier to do mint than used as before the turn of the century, very little mail left Uganda.
