Far easier to collect in mint condition but still a massive challenge, we consider Uganda to be one of the most interesting former British protectorates in the Empire. Produced on a typewriter in the late 19th century by a missionary at the request of the governor of the colony as they did not have their own postage stamps, the uniqueness of their format and history makes them an intriguing subject for philatelists.
