COLUMBINE" on flap and enclosure written by ship's officer, "...with the sad news of the Death of Admiral Cockburn and Lord Mayo (Viceroy) who was stabbed in the back by a convict at the Adaman Islands", an important historical letter of the period, cover opens out on all sides with some collateral damage.
