A company favorite that is significantly easier to do mint than used (the used is so rare we hardly recommend you attempt it.) The colony itself has a number of great world class rarities; there is one stamp of which there is only one recorded copy, and there are three Scott/Gibbons listings we have not seen an example of in 50 years. Something important to note: you must abandon all concepts of physical condition to collect this colony. If you have ever held one of these stamps in your hand you will realize they were printed on terribly thin and porous “newspaper” stock, and the vast majority of the stamps you encounter from Madagascar will likely have thins and or defects.
