A company favorite, this former British colony is significantly easier to collect mint. Madagascar offer a number of great world class rarities; there is one stamp of which there is only one recorded copy, and there are three Scott/Gibbons listings we have not seen an example of in 50 years. Something important to note: the vast majority of the stamps you encounter from Madagascar will likely have thins as they were printed on thin and porous “newspaper” stock!
